BUILDING THE SPIRIT OF TEAMWORK

Teamwork is the heart and soul of a company, organization, family or relationship. Groups are comprised of individuals and individual drive. Skills and motivation are essential to the success of the group. Interactive exercises, team assessments and group discussions enable groups to cultivate this greater sense of teamwork. We have outlined the five W’s for your questions.

WHO

Any company, office, group, club or organization can compete and participate in highly interactive programs. Corporate or team building events can help your business in a number of ways, from motivating a weary team or encouraging communication between departments, to rewarding your company for all their hard work. SLUGGERS AND PUTTERS offers fun team building events for all groups.

WHY

Would your employees rather engage in activities or boring lectures?

* Create communication between team members and leaders.

WHAT

Your teams will divide into four to six total teams with an even number. We will coordinate and offer various activities for your staff that they will find exciting and encourage team development.

CLOSEST TO THE PIN

Each participant will receive five chances to be the closest to the pin at the golf range. The tee or mat will be placed 50 yards from the flag allowing all skill levels to participate. Points will be earned by balls landing at circle grids near the pin proximity. Bring your clubs or use ours. Practice buckets of balls are available.

STOCK KART SCREAMING EAGLE RACE

Each heat consists of 4 races. One per team starting at various grids on our oval track. Consisting of five laps, winners advance to next bracket. You may bracket the drivers to match skill level or create grudge matches. Team drivers win points based on their performance. We do all the work; you have all the fun at the action packed speed track.

BATTING CAGE CHALLENGE

All batters have 12 chances to hit targets in the softball batting cage. Everybody can do this, whether you are a major leaguer or a rookie! Players receive points based on ball and targets hit. Two softball cages available for faster play-through.

ADVENTURE GOLF

Divide your group in two member teams and putt against golfers from other groups. Great time to get to know other staff members. Ohio’s most challenging mini-golf course, putt through lush gardens and follow the yellow brick road through the Land of Oz. Points based on pars, birdies, bogeys, and double bogeys.

SAND VOLLEYBALL

Bump it! Set it! Spike it! Take the sand volleyball challenge on our beautiful sand courts. Winning teams receive points! Great for team participation.

PAINTBALL

Great for promoting team work and strategy. Our paint ball professionals will guide your group to one of our five great fields. Choose from the jungle course, air ball hyper tube or speedball. We supply all the necessary equipment, paint and guides.

ROCK CLIMBING

Choose up to 4 climbers from your team to compete for the fastest climb time. Climbers will be secured with our automatic belay system and super safe harness system.

HOOPS

Hoop it up from the 3 point line, foul line and designated shot areas. Hurry up; you only have 60 seconds to pile up your points. Or choose a team shooting relay. Either way, this is a good one.

SLOT CAR RACING

Everyone gets to test their eye, hand coordination at the new indoor figure 8 Slot Car Track 1/32 scale. A great indoor activity. You control the speed and accuracy on our track counter timer system. Points awarded on placement.

BUMPER BOAT TEAM CHALLENGE

Divide your team up to five players per team. Battle your opponents to shoot baskets while your splish, splashing away on the bumper boats. Team work is needed for that 3 point shot and defense counts. You will get wet on this attraction.

WHEN

Contact a Team Building Specialist to reserve your date and time. The preferred Team Building Month is September. However, other dates and times are available.
Wednesday and Friday are also preferred days. We suggest starting your event no later than 9:00 AM with a signup and registration beginning at 8:30 AM. We recommend a continental breakfast. Break for a nourishing lunch at noon and commence activities at 12:45. Completion of remaining activities should be completed no later than 4:00 PM. Awards trophies can take place at that time with closing comments. A dinner also can be arranged with adult beverages. Of course, unlimited soft drinks will be available throughout the day. Sluggers and Putters offer a complete catering and beverage service for all budgets and group sizes.

WHERE

Team building events will take place at the beautiful 20 acre park of Sluggers and Putters Family Fun and Sports Park located in Canal Fulton, Ohio, just minutes from I-77 and State Rte. 21. Created in 1991, Sluggers and Putters is family owned and operated with attractions for all ages. Sluggers and Putters pride itself on award winning landscapes and top shelf attractions.
